I'm an airhead. Oh wow!: Parka, My Love.

I'm wearing:

I've talked about parkas before and how much I loved them for being a versatile, useful (weather-wise), cool jackets; now I present how I like to style my own. It's from H&M and I really liked everything about it, the brown color matches nicely with the grayish blue on the hood and the beige in the cords; it's warm but not too warm and it really is windproof; a fact that I love since the wind in Korea has gone crazy lately, sometimes I feel like I am in the opening chapter of The Wizard of Oz, y'all!

I feel a parka is one of those pieces that could become a key item in any guy's wardrobe. It may not be as necessary as, say, a black jacket or black skinny jeans but I really think that it can spice up any outfit quite well. And for you, my more conservative friends, it's also nice to note that it's a really useful item so it won't be just an aesthetic pleasure purchase. It's an investment.

I chose to pair it with a simple striped t-shirt, blue super skinny jeans, my favorite boots from Frank Wright UK and golden accessories; the chains and spikes toughen the look for a bit. I'm at my Korean university and I just love the leaves on the trees right now. It's a really beautiful thing to see. I'm also surprised by how well the photos look, the colors function so well in this, it's amazing. This look truly embodies fall at all of its extension.

A veces me siento como en el primer capítulo del Mago de Oz, o sea.

Siento que la parka es una de esas piezas que pueden convertirse en un elemento clave en el guardarropa de cualquier hombre. Puede no ser tan necesaria como, digamos, una chamarra negra o jeans entubados negros pero realmente pienso que puede aderezar un atuendo bastante bien. Y para ustedes, mis amigos más conservadores, es bueno hacer notar que es una prenda útil así que no sólo será una compra por placer estético. Es una inversión.

Elegí usarla con una playera de rayas simple, jeans azules súper entubados, mis botas favoritas de Frank Wright UK y accesorios en dorado; las cadenas y los picos hacen que sea un look un poquito mas rudo. Estoy en mi universidad coreana y amo las hojas de los árboles en estos días. Es una cosa muy bonita para ver. También me sorprendo por lo bien que salieron las fotos, los colores funcionan perfectamente en esto, es impresionante. Este atuendo en serio resume la idea de otoño en toda su extensión.
