Sincerely, Andy W. (Andy Warhol Halloween Costume).

For this Andy Warhol inspired Halloween costume, I'm wearing:

1. Leather jacket in black, from H&M.

2. Slim fit polo shirt, turned backwards to create a turtleneck in black, from H&M.

3. Super skinny black jeans in black, from Asos.

4. Creeper sneakers in grey, from Kr3w.

5. Prescription aviator glasses, from Ray-Ban.

6. Socks in hot pink, from TOPTEN10.

Being blond is a new thing for me. I'm really not used to it yet. A couple weeks ago, my friends and I were playing a game and it was 'blondes vs. brunettes' and one guy was like: "Henry, you're team blond" and that, while technically true, took me by surprise. Haha. That thought stayed on my head for a couple weeks and, with Halloween approaching, a brilliant idea came to me: I SHOULD DRESS UP AS ANDY WARHOL.

So yeah, in Korea, Halloween was celebrated this past weekend and I was Andy Warhol. It wasn't a hard costume to make, really, but I gave it my all. I didn't have any turtlenecks so the best thing I could do was wearing a polo shirt backwards, it worked perfectly. I debated between wearing a black blazer or the biker jacket but the latter had more personality. I added the pop in pop artist with a splash of color on my feet and finished the look with my own prescription glasses (people really loved those babies).

I think this was the only time I could dress up as him since I'm not planning on returning to bleach blond hair in a long time. But who knows, right? I may miss it when I'm 'team brunet' again. It was one of my better Halloween costumes, I think. And the photos came out really nicely and artistic so I was greatly pleased. I do think I look a bit like Andy, what do you say,  mission accomplished?

Hace un par de semanas, mis amigos y yo estábamos jugando algo y era "rubios vs. castaños" y un chavito dijo: 'Henry, tú eres del equipo rubio' y, aún siendo técnicamente cierto, me agarró desprevenido. Jaja. Esa idea se quedó en mi cabeza por un par de semanas y, con Halloween acercándose, una idea brillante llegó a mí: DEBERÍA DISFRAZARME DE ANDY WARHOL.

En Korea, celebramos Halloween este fin que pasó y fui Andy Warhol. No fue un disfraz difícil, en serio, pero le eché todas las ganas. No tenía cosas con cuello de tortuga así que lo mejor que upe hacer fue usar una polo al revés, funcionó perfectamente. Debatí entre usar un saco negro y la chamarra motociclista pero creo que la segunda tiene más personalidad. Añadí el pop en artista pop con un toque de color en mis pies y finalicé el atuendo con mis propios lentes para ver (la gente los amó).

Creo que ésta es la única ocasión en la que me podré disfrazar de Andy porque no planeo volver a ser rubio decolorado. Pero uno nunca sabe ¿veá? Quizá lo extrañe cuando sea "equipo castaño" otra vez. Fue uno de mis mejores disfraces para Halloween, creo, y las fotos quedaron padres y con vibra artística, así que me considero satisfecho. Creo que luzco un poco como él, ¿qué dicen ustedes, misión cumplida?
