Layers and Layers for Winter.

I'm wearing:

As promised, here's my outfit featuring layers and layers of clothing. The temperature in Seoul was going lower and lower and when I least expected, BAM! Snow. Actual snow covering everything in white. It was amazing. I've never seen snow before in my life, let alone had it for a couple of days. Wow. I was shocked and loving every moment of it. This time I actually made it to the snow (inside joke, click here).

Of course, with snow comes colder weather. Personally, I prefer this instead of warmth and tropical conditions. But, in order to survive this drastic change, I had to master the art of layering. As you can see, I'm following my '5 step rule' and started with a basic t-shirt, added a wool vest, a denim jacket and a big oversized coat to top the whole thing.

I wanted to keep the accessories subtle. I could've used a scarf or something but I felt that was a little overpowering, the necklace worked better. For the bottom part, I always like how oversized tops look with skinny jeans, I think it makes you remember that the piece, NOT YOU, is what's really big. What do you say? Did I pull off a layered look like a pro? I hope these photos, together with the guide, were of help to you when it comes to layering clothes.

// Como prometí, aquí está el atuendo que hice pensando en capas y capas de ropa. La tempereatura en Seúl estaba yendo cada vez más abajo y, cuando menos lo esperé, ¡BAM! Nieve. Nieve de verdad cubriendo todo en blanco. Fue hermoso. Nunca había visto nieve en mi vida, mucho menos tenerla por un par de días. Wow. Estaba emocionado y disfrutando cada momento. Esta vez sí logré llegar a la nieve (chiste local, hagan click aquí).

Por supuesto, con la nieve vienen los fríos infernales. Aún así, prefiero esto mil veces al calor y condiciones tropicales. Pero para poder sobrevivir este cambio tan drástico, tuve que volverme el maestro de las capas. Como pueden ver, estoy siguiendo mi "regla de los 5 pasos" y comencé con una playera básica, añadí un chaleco de lana, una chamarra de mezclilla y un enorme abrigo extra grande como cereza del pastel.

Quise mantener los accesorios sutiles. Pude haber usado una bufanda o algo pero sentí que estaba de más, el collar funcionó mejor. Para la parte de abajo, siempre me gusta como se ve lo extra grande arriba con algo muy entubado abajo. Creo que te hace recordar que la prenda es lo extra grande, NO TÚ. ¿Qué opinan? ¿Logré hacer un gran atuendo en capas? Espero que estas fotos, en unión con la guía, les hayan ayudado cuando de "encapar" se trata.
